Members and Friends of CBA London, we are looking for people interested in getting involved in our Committee and bringing fresh ideas to our group. You can participate as general members of the Committee, or volunteer for the roles of Treasurer and Honorary Secretary. For more information please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
There are lots of other ways to get involved in archaeology.
The Young Archaeologists’ Club is a national club for young people interested in archaeology. There are two branches in London, which provide monthly meetings for 8-16 year olds. You can find out more about them here.
Local Societies are a great way of finding out more about your local archaeology. You can find out more about them here.
If you’d like to take part in an excavation, have a look at some of these links for volunteer opportunities:
- The Council for British Archaeology’s Fieldwork Briefing
- I Love the Past
- Volunteering at the Museum of London Archaeological Archive
Unfortunately, as a volunteer led organisation, we are unable to support work experience or other volunteer placements, but here are some hints that might help you: Work Experience in Archaeology.
